
The Milanese Carlo Annovazzi was among the great players of post-war AC Milan that won the 1950/51 league title again after as many as 44 years. Playing as a right midfielder, he significantly contributed to the club's triumph scoring 17 goals, and never missing a penalty kick, recording 8 successful kicks from the spot. He counted 17 appearances with the national team, at the time mainly formed of players of the Great Torino.
