One of the greatest centre-forwards ever, Gunnar Nordahl joined AC Milan from IFK Nörrkoping in January 1949, a few months after winning gold at the Olympic Games in London with Sweden. His first goal scored against Pro Patria was just the prelude to an endless series of GOALS: five-time Serie A top scorer, he’s still the most prolific scorer in Milan’s history with a total of 221 goals. After convincing his fellow countrymen Gren and Liedholm to join him in Italy, he brought the league title back to Milan after many years without success.
