Lorenzo Buffon hadn’t turned twenty yet when he made his debut with Milan jersey during the 1949/50 season. Dazzling and very effective goalkeeper, he earned the nickname of “Pincers” for his secure catch. A year later, he significantly contributed, together with the formidable Gre-No-Li trio, to the league title win eagerly sought after for 44 years. Opposed to Giorgio Ghezzi, in a historical rivalry, the Friulian goalkeeper would conquer in ten years three more league titles.
