The Dutchman, who is enjoying a fantastic 2024/25 campaign, shone at San Siro, putting in another fantastic performance. He opened the scoring at the end of the first half, once again showcasing his ability to make a decisive contribution in crucial moments.
Tijji showed class and composure to rifle into the net after Sommer had parried the ball into his path. The midfielder was heavily involved, making a constant contribution in attack and defence. His goal was the culmination of some well-worked moves that saw the Rossoneri keep the intensity high and cause the Inter backline problems.
Tijjani's stats from the match speak for themselves: four shots, three of which were on target, and 37 successful passes. His ability to position himself between the lines and create opportunities was crucial for AC Milan. Throughout the match, he showed why he is a pillar of Coach Conceição's side.
