HAPPY BIRTHDAY COACH!

It's his first birthday as with the Rossoneri: today, on Friday 2 August, Coach Giampaolo celebrates his 52nd birthday. Despite joining AC Milan less than a month ago, he has completely immersed himself in the Rossoneri family: "AC Milan is one of the most popular clubs in the world, they have millions of fans. I can feel the history and the ambition of the fans, the club and everyone involved."

The first weeks of training and the first friendly matches in the ICC 2019 have allowed him to get to know his players better: "The team have worked very well, I'm happy. The next few games we play will help us to improve our intensity, our understanding, and how well we read the game. We're further ahead than where I expected us to be because the players are truly of a great quality and standard: they understand, they take on new things and they seamlessly put what I ask of them into practice."

A birthday spent at work, first on the training pitch before the trip to Cardiff a day ahead of the match against Manchester United. Happy birthday boss!
