    The 2018/19 season was a tough one for him: his last appearance came on 25 October 2018 at San Siro in the Europa League against Betis, then came his injury, knee surgery and a long time out on the sidelines. Giacomo Bonaventura made his return to the pitch on 3 August at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff for our ICC 2019 match against Manchester United. He then got some further minutes in the friendly match with Feronikeli in Pristina. 

    A faster recovery than expected, which was sure to be the result of Jack's sheer desire to return to Coach Giampaolo and his teammates as soon as possible. Today, Thursday 22 August, Giacomo celebrates an important milestone: that of his 30th birthday. The Club and all the Rossoneri fans around the world send their best wishes and the hope that this season will bring him all the happiness he deserves, both on and off the pitch. Happy birthday Jack!
