HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ISMAËL!

AC Milan wanted him, and AC Milan got their man. Bennacer was one of our most significant signings during the summer transfer window. The Rossoneri club, having noted his impressive performances during his first season in Serie A with Empoli, decided not only to purchase him but to give him an immediate role, and a role of great importance at that. After a few months of settling in, the Algerian AFCON winner has really come on in a Rossoneri shirt, putting in more and more quality and assured performances. Today, on 1 December, Bennacer turns 22!

He will be hoping to be able to celebrate on the pitch as well as off it as he returns to the squad to play Parma after being suspended last time out. It will be a very important match at the Tardini in regards to both team’s league ambitions, and Ismaël will once again seek to be the engine in Coach Pioli’s midfield. He will do that role today and throughout the coming seasons, of that we are sure. Happy Birthday!
