"A month, two months are feasible periods of time but we're waiting for a certain specific procedure and a clear one because we need to make decisions. If we then encounter problems, we'll come up with different ideas." This was AC Milan Chairman Paolo Scaroni when interviewed by Sky in response to comments made by the Mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala regarding San Siro.
"The law on stadiums which our application is based on allows for projects to build new stadiums alongside further property development projects," added Scaroni. "The word repurposing can mean many different things. We're waiting for the meetings that are coming up which the Mayor is hopeful for as are we and we are waiting for a clear indication of what this word means because that's the only way we can see if this idea of repurposing is compatible with our project, both in sporting and financial terms," concluded the Chairman.
