COVID-19: UPDATE ON THE ROSSONERI DONATIONS
The fundraising campaign launched by Fondazione Milan is still ongoing and has so far raised more than €600,000.
As part of the Club's initiatives to unite all fans during the coronavirus pandemic, AC Milan, FC Internazionale and DAZN hosted the first-ever virtual Milan derby on Konami's eFootball PES 2020.
The game starred AC Milan's Rafael Leão and FC Internazionale's Sebastiano Esposito, with fans being encouraged to contribute to AC Milan's ongoing fundraising campaign on the following link: www.gofundme.com.
COVID-19: "DISTANCE IS THE NEW STRENGHT"
On the occasion of Easter 2020, the Club is going to use the equivalent of the value of the present that is usually given to employees to donate food and masks to the "Opera San Francesco per i Poveri" that was founded in 1959 by the Capuchin Friars in Milan and offers free assistance and hospitality to those in need.
AC Milan has started delivering 2,000 care packages to 2019/20 season ticket holders over the age of 65. Packages include food, beverages, toiletries and masks as well as some Rossoneri gadgets. Thanks to the contribution of some of the Club’s partners, including Alps, Balocco, Bioscalin, La Molisana and Peroni, AC Milan is going to deliver all care packages in the next few days.
Additionally, all 30 tablets donated by AC Milan to the City of Milan are going to be delivered to three schools (IC Confalonieri, IC Renzo Pezzani, IC di via Giacosa) by the end of next week. This donation will allow primary and secondary school students to access online schooling from their houses.
COVID-19: HEADSPACE JOINS "#ACMILANTOGETHER"
To mark the new partnership between AC Milan and Headspace, a global leader in meditation and mindfulness, goalkeeper Asmir Begović took part in a live meditation session alongside Headspace co-founder Andy Puddicome with the theme "Train Your Mind".
This new partnership addresses the need for mental health support and guidance and offers a complimentary one-month Headspace subscription to all the Rossoneri supporters and a three-month subscription to all AC Milan Cuore Rossonero card-holders.
