"MILAN ON FIRE" MURAL UNVEILED AT SAN SIRO

Anticipation for the Milan Derby is building up and, with less than twenty-four hours to the game, AC Milan is proud to unveil "MILAN ON FIRE" - an over 13 x 3 meters mural that brings colour to the spaces next to gate 14 at San Siro.

"MILAN ON FIRE" is the highlight of a series of initiatives launched by the Club to emphasize the emotional bond with all the Rossoneri fans currently unable to be at San Siro to support their team:

• The Club’s official Twitch channel will air the maratona Derby from 10am on Sunday February 21^st, with special guests including former Rossoneri players Christian Abbiati and Clarence Seedorf, artist Ernia and eSports player Diego Campagnani;
• AC Milan has been sharing and will continue to share exclusive content on its social media channels dedicated to the Derby including highlights, quizzes to test the knowledge of fans and messages from Rossoneri legends Kaká, Daniele Massaro, Franco Baresi, Serginho, Ibrahim Ba, Thomas Helveg and many Rossoneri friends such as Rkomi, Dani Faiv, Axos, Andrea Montovoki, Alvin;
• Fans will be able to experience the Derby on the AC Milan APP through dedicated insights like the "Milan Inter cult" podcast hosted by journalist Mauro Suma with some of the most iconic moments of the recent derbies;
• Last but not least, the innovative initiative "Derby Together" was a huge success. Through this initiative the Rossoneri gave its supporters the opportunity to purchase personalized virtual tickets for the Milan Derby and win prizes and experiences and help the most vulnerable affected by the pandemic through Fondazione Milan. Almost 25,000 tickets have been sold so far - a testament to the loyalty, passion and generosity of the Rossoneri fans. Tickets are still available until tomorrow on the Derby Together website.

"MILAN ON FIRE" was unveiled today through a video-hero posted on AC Milan official channels. Among the protagonists of the video are some the Rossoneri players, including Rafael Leão, Brahim Díaz, Alexis Saelemaekers and Zlatan Ibrahimović, who at the end of the video underlines the key message behind this iniatitve dedicated to fans: "This Mural is for you."

The mural combines street art with the AC Milan colours and hallmarks. The artwork also features the graphic pattern of the new "Tailored for Sports" capsule collection created by PUMA for AC Milan that the Rossoneri players are going to wear during the pitch inspection on Sunday.

The artwork, located at the San Siro stadium represents the over 500 million AC Milan supporters united in one endless embrace - in line with AC Milan's main claim "From Milan to the Many." A message of strength and pride, in a difficult period that we will all remember, during which AC Milan and its fans managed to stick together despite the distance.
