While the streets of Milan are being decorated for Christmas, the city centre is donning the Rossoneri colours for a fresh collaboration between the Club and the Rinascente department store, which is beloved by fashion aficionados the world over. For Red&Black Friday, which brings in a week of unmissable special offers, the iconic store at the Piazza del Duomo is reserving two windows at its Annex Store for the history and fashion collections of the Champions of Italy.
This is an important collaboration for AC Milan. The Club has, once again, confirmed its commitment to extending the brand beyond the field of play, as it seeks to further cement its presence in the worlds of lifestyle, fashion and digital in order to connect with millions of fans, especially the younger generations.
One of the windows - dedicated to the Mondo Milan Museum - will take you back through the over 120 years of the Club's history. From "Forza Milan" magazines from the 60s and 70s to the recent AC Milan for Peace jersey, which was created in collaboration with Andriy Shevchenko. It is a real journey through the Club's past, thanks to some unusual and rare items, such as season tickets from the 1950s, leather footballs from the Club's beginnings and the 1978/79 Scudetto trophy, which was the Rossoneri's tenth title.
The other window is geared towards fashion lovers, with displays of AC Milan collections and other collaborations with partners like PUMA. We have the recent Paninari Collection, which celebrates the 90s subculture of the same name, and the College Collection, which has seen the redesign of elements of the Rossoneri's heritage into a new, fresh, young style. There are also match shirts combined into an outfit with jeans and trainers for that perfect everyday lifestyle touch.
Furthermore, the windows are adorned with images of AC Milan's history, with memorable moments for the entire Rossoneri family. In addition, each window will carry a QR code which, once scanned, will take you to the Club's e-commerce site, through which you can get access to special offers throughout Italy.
