OP‑ED: ZAPATA AT THE DEATH

I’ve followed AC Milan since I was little, and now I’m 27. These colours are my one true love. The first time I was at the San Siro was a derby match against Inter. It was an incredible experience to see my team at the stadium. A wonderful stadium, especially in the derby, full of colours, songs and crowded with fantastic supporters. It’s impossible to truly describe such a thing. I loved every single moment. Being able to sing, suffer and to cheer for the equalizer in the last seconds of the match thanks to Zapata. These are memories that will always stay with me, hoping to once again reach the heights of our glorious past. One jersey, two colours: always Forza AC Milan!

An unforgettable moment, Antonietta; a draw that was almost as sweet as a win and one that was worth European qualification. To fight back from two down, to equalize right at the death. It was an incredible achievement, an achievement worthy of AC Milan: one to regale the children, and grandchildren.
