I was born on May 10 1992, at 17.15. At the exact same time,800 km away in Naples, Fabio Capello’s Rossoneri drew level with Napoli thanks to a Rijkaard goal. With two games left to be played, the Invincibles sealed the Club’s 12th Scudetto! My father was delighted his son was born, or so he’s told me many times, but what he really wanted was to be in Piazza Duomo, the heart of Milan, celebrating the Scudetto with his fellow Rossoneri fans rather than being stuck at the hospital. He has always been a diehard fan so there was no way I wouldn’t grow up to be a Rossonero, too, especially being born at such a historic moment. Thank you, Dad, for instilling in me the passion for AC Milan!
