On 19 January 2020, I travelled 1141 km to make my lifelong dream come true. I'd spent most of my life watching AC Milan games on the TV but the joy of watching my favourite team was always mixed with the envy of seeing the fans celebrating on the stands of San Siro together with the team. My first time at the stadium was surreal, it was so dreamlike. The pitch right in front of you as soon as you climb the stairs, exactly as I'd imagined it. I knew I was in the right place. I stood there, transfixed by the most beautiful sight in the world (well, it was to me). Incredulous of what I saw in front of me, the team arrived and the anthem started. At that moment, tears started rolling spontaneously as if a button had been pressed. In the end, Rebić’s last-minute winner made it the best day of my life. Till we meet again, my love!
