OP-ED: PASSION 120 FROM PALERMO

From Sicily to Milan to celebrate 120 years of AC Milan: Christian's pilgrimage

15 December 2019, I travelled from Palermo to Milan for my first time at San Siro. My seat was in the second-tier orange sector for our match against Sassuolo. The result wasn't very satisfying: a goalless draw. I was able to scream for joy as the ball hit the net, only for the goal to be disallowed by the VAR. Despite that, it was a wonderful day as I got to celebrate my club's 120th anniversary surrounded by so many fellow fans. I'll never forget the scarf-waving tribute, the Rossonero Glorie lining up on the field at half-time and the Curva that sang for the full 90 minutes. It was an unforgettable experience.
