I was 11 years old when I got to make my debut at the home of the Diavolo. AC Milan 5-2 Lecce 6 January 2005. When I arrived outside the stadium, I was struck by its beauty. Being able to see that green field I'd only seen through a screen was like discovering a new world. As fate would have it, my favourite player, the King from the East, Andriy Shevchenko, was to take his lap of honour with the Ballon d'Or before kick-off. What more could I have wished for? It was a perfect first time, even my father was tearing up. Being there that day was a privilege.
