OP‑ED: SAN SIRO IN THE AUGUST HEAT

On 3 August 2017, I set foot inside the San Siro for the first time. I’d travelled from Rimini by bus and I can still feel the unmanageable heat of those days - 38/40°C. I was there for our first Europa League match, the 2-0 win over Craiova. Stepping into San Siro, my breath escaped me: seeing the pitch in persona and hearing the AC Milan song, it was a dream come true! I really can’t describe how great it was, I had goosebumps, but the truly incredible thing was my seat number: row 5 seat 26... my date of birth 26 May!

The heat of that night is a shared memory for many Rossoneri, our first European night in a quite a while. Each of us holds a special place for the Craiova match as you'll always remember that great feeling!
