CASTELLANZESE v MILAN FUTURO: MATCH PREVIEW

    Milan FuturoApril 25th 2026

Victory in the championship at last for the Rossoneri. Hard-fought, well-deserved, and very important. Milan Futuro beat SPAL 2-1 and shone at the Stadio Mazza in Ferrara on a delicate and crucial afternoon. It is the first success in 2025 for Mister Bonera's team, the first win since December and first away win since October. The match was decided by goals from Magrassi, who opened the scoring just before half-time, and Quirini, who regained our lead in the middle of the second half after the temporary equaliser, scoring his first goal in an AC Milan shirt.

A beautiful performance - convincing, attentive and full of hard work, in which the signs of the team's growth emerged, supported by our new additions from the transfer market. The Diavolo managed to have a fresh start on matchday 25 of Serie C, even if this is not yet reflected in the standings - we remain 18th, rising to 22 points. Positive energy as we look to the immediate future, in view of a challenge scheduled for Saturday 8 February at 15:00 CET, when Lucchese will arrive at the Chinetti in Solbiate Arno.

    MATCH REPORT
It started with SPAL playing aggressively, holding the ball and attacking quickly: in the 2nd minute, Rao's left-footer was weak and easy for Nava, and in the 17th minute Paghera hit the post after a scramble in the area, and then Rao's shot ended up wide. Then, AC Milan's turn: in the 18th minute, Malaspina's attempt did not touble Galeotti, and in the 24th minute, Magrassi was served by Sandri and his shot was close to the target. After that, there was a long phase of battling back and forth. Just before half-time, in the 43rd minute, Magrassi opened the scoring with a brilliant header from D'Alessio's cross - with his back to the goal, in front of his opponent - and into the corner.

The start of the second half was marked by Ferrara's equaliser in the 48th minute: Antenucci came on and scored, powerfully and precisely getting past Nava from the edge of the box after Karlsson's clearance. The Rossoneri's reaction was immediate: in the 50th minute, Quirini didn't quite get to D'Alessio's cross, and in the 56th minute, Sandri's shot was just off target. In the 59th minute, Antenucci was one step away from doubling the scoreline: a deflection before the goal that brushed the post. After the scare, in the 61st minute, we were the ones to re-establish the lead thanks to Quirini, capitalising on a deflected free kick by Sandri. The matched slowed down, and in the 69th minute Nador made a save on Magrassi's counterattack. The opponents kept pushing in the final minutes, without creating any real danger: in the 92nd minute, Nava blocked Paghera's shot and in the 95th minute, Antenucci's attempt went over the top. Triple whistle.
