PRIMAVERA, THE LEAGUE LEADERS UP NEXT

In some ways, it’s the ideal match to try to get back on track: AC Milan’s Primavera side certainly won’t be lacking in motivation as they look to get the better of league leaders Roma at Vismara today. The Giallorossi themselves have been struggling somewhat lately.
Indeed, while the Rossoneri have picked up just three points from their last four matches, Roma have only collected six from five games. This represents a downturn for a team that won seven of their first eight league matches.
However, one positive aspect for both teams is their solid defensive records: the Giallorossi and the Diavolo have conceded 15 and 16 goals respectively, the fourth and fifth fewest in the division. The thing that has separated the two sides so far is the number of goals that have gone in at the other end.
While Olzer has found the net six times for AC Milan, Roma have three players with at least five goals to their names: Zalewski (six), Darboe and Tall (five each). A logical consequence of this is that the current table-toppers are leading the way in terms of goals scored: 32, ahead of Inter and Empoli (24). The Rossoneri will thus need to improve their finishing in order to record a prestigious victory, move towards the playoff zone and put distance between themselves and the teams below.
