WOMEN'S PRIMAVERA, INTO THE FINAL FOUR

The dream continues. The women's Primavera continue their magical season as they progress through to the Scudetto Final Four. The victory in the two-legged tie against Sassuolo has opened the doors to the final phase for coach Corti's side, which will be played in Tirrenia.
On Friday, we have the semi-final against Roma, with the final scheduled for Sunday (against the winner of Juventus v Fiorentina). However, for this group to find themselves amongst the top four across the country is already a fantastic achievement, considering this is the first year for the group at this level and with a particularly low average squad age. Several members of the group have progressed through each level of the Rossoneri youth sector.
"We've somewhat surprised ourselves this season with the progress we've managed to make along the way. We are really happy to have reached such an important milestone, so we'll take the time to enjoy the moment and continue our hard work" confirmed a satisfied coach Corti.
19 wins, 4 draws and just the one defeat to the young Rossonere's name, who proved to be unstoppable at Vismara (only 2 draws in 12 matches) and have also developed some good experience, despite their unfortunate defeat in the Viareggio Cup final against Brøndby. Now one last push for the Scudetto, to end such a special season with a flourish.
