The young Rossonere easily brushed aside Pink Sport Time in the Scudetto semi-final, played at Martorano, to take them through to the Women's Under-17 final. A brace from both Rossi and Sperduto, along with goals from Vittoria Cappa, Boldrini and an own goal, gave them a 7-0 win.
It was a strong performance from our girls - in a game that was never in doubt - who scored three goals in the first half, and controlled the rest of the game extending their lead in the second half. It is a crowning moment to reach the final showdown of the season. Indeed, the success has guaranteed the Rossonere a place in the Final to fight for the national title.
It has been a long and difficult road to reach the final stages of the competition for Head Coach De Martino's girls. They passed through the Fase Regionale category first, and then finished second in Group 1 in the Fase Interregionale - getting ten points from five games -, that earned them a place in the National draw. Their two wins against against Inter took them to the Final Four where they outclassed Pink Sport Time, which has consequently put them through to the Final.
In the other semi-final, Juventus came out on top against Roma 5-2 in Cesena, therefore confirming the Bianconere as AC Milan's opposition in the Final, due to be played at "Romagna Centro" Training Centre on 30 June at 18:00 CEST. The date is set and all that is left for the young Rossonere squad is to go and get that dream ending.
