The season for Ilenia Prati's U15 Rossonere concluded with a seventh-place finish in the Scudetto Final Eight. It was a campaign that only added to the list of great results for our Women's Youth Teams.
The Primavera, U17 and U15, in fact, all reached their respective national finals. For our 2007s - also included various girls born in 2008 - it was a long season, but one also rich in brilliant moments.
After a perfect record in the regional first round (20 wins from 20 games), the good form continued with a near-perfect run in the inter-regional round with six wins and a draw. Particularly noteworthy was the Rossonere's defensive performance as they conceded just four goals before reaching the Final Eight.
Our young Rossonere also had some fantastic experiences away from the league, with victory in the Bracco Cup - beating Atalanta in the final - and in the triangle tournament the Prime Cup last winter. So it was, overall, a brilliant year of growth: after a 2021/22 season, which saw some of the Rossonere sides reach the Final Four, the future is certainly bright.
