The women's Primavera season continues at a good pace. After the beautiful victory on the Juventus pitch, last weekend Mister Corti's team beat Napoli in a match full of goals, which ended 5-2. The first half was sealed by the hat-trick scored by an unstoppable Avallone, who scored her first goal of the season, while in the second half Maria Vittoria Cappa and Letizia Galdini closed off any chance of a challenge reopened by the two Neapolitan goals.

"It was important for me to be back scoring goals," Giulia Avallone said after the match. "We have to keep improving and getting results. We are aware of our strength and we want to get to the top. We have a lot of room for growth, we know what we want to do". A concept that was also reiterated by coach Davide Corti, who praised the Rossoneri's cynicism on set-pieces, from which came three of the goals scored in the last game: "During the week we paid a lot of attention to this aspect".

After 10 points in their first four games - with a total of 12 goals scored and 3 conceded - has earned the Rossoneri 2nd place in the table, two points behind Roma, the focus is on the room for improvement of a group that includes players who achieved great results last season, between Primavera and Under-17. "We want to work a lot, in the most difficult matches, on the performance but also on the result. And this also applies to challenges against more affordable opponents, where we have to avoid mistakes," said Corti.

A very young group like the Rossonere, with no one older than 19 and many younger ones born between 2005 and 2006, has the chance to grow a lot over the course of the season. "The girls' determination and willingness to work is there and it is important," Corti continues. "This makes improvements possible, which as a staff we also look for in the daily work and in the little things. We want to ensure that the girls enjoy playing the game, that they can combine the satisfaction of the result with the happiness of a good performance."
