WOMEN'S PRIMAVERA: A GOOD START

2023 has begun in positive fashion for Coach Corti's side

Boldrini's finish in the closing stages (87') finally broke Parma's resistance at the PUMA House of Football. The women's Primavera started 2023 with an important victory that allows them to remain on the heels of Roma and Juventus, who they respectively trail by four and three points.

2022 finished with a victory away to Sassuolo – just like it did for the women's first team – and both sides also successfully returned to league action in 2023 with a win over Parma. Now, Coach Corti's girls are focusing on their game against fifth-place Fiorentina.

Sunday's win was the U19s' final game in the first half of the campaign. They currently sit third with 25 points from eleven matches following eight wins, a draw and two defeats. They've scored 29 and conceded just ten, with only Roma (eight) having conceded fewer goals.

Next up are Fiorentina, who the Rossonere drew 1-1 with in the reverse fixture. The aim is to pick up three points to continue to give chase to the top two, who were the Scudetto finalists last season. Our girls have no intention of stopping.
