ROSSONERE: THE AIM IS TO FINISH ON A HIGH

There are five games to go until the end of the Championship Round - and the end of the season. The final five games, in order, are against Inter, Juventus, Fiorentina, Roma and finally Inter. The current table sees the Rossonere occupy fifth place with 35 points, level with Inter and eleven points behind Juventus, who are second.
The undeserved defeat against the Bianconeri on the first day of the Championship Round effectively ended any chances of clinching a place in the Champions League next season. Despite it being mathematically possible, it is currently looking very unlikely for the Rossonere.
In these last five games, which begin for the Rossonere on 22 April with the derby after this weekend's bye, the team will have to try to finish in the best possible way, and attempt to replicate last season's third place finish.
These are important games for the future, and the Rossonere will want to build on a promising 2023: the team finished the 'regular season' with some fantastic performances performance and fell just short of reaching a Coppa Italia final. There is still a long way to go, Rossonere.
