A positive season, a lot fo which was spent close to the top of the league table. The efforts of coach Terni's Under 18's ended on Saturday at the PUMA House of Football with an inconsequential defeat against Monza. 1-2 the final result, a successful half-comeback after going behind twice in the first half.
The league table at the end of the season sees the Rossoneri in fourth place, behind Inter, SPAL and Torino, all teams that AC Milan managed to beat in the league. This is a clear sign of the potential of this team, a stable reservoir for the Primavera team but at the same time competitive in the league to which they belong.
45 goals scored, 36 conceded, the best scorer with 11 goals was Chiesurin while many players were 'loaned' to the Primavera, for example Mangiameli, Casali, Malaspina, Andrews. One of the last satisfactions was the victory in the Derby on 14 May, decided by Mangiameli.
Christian Terni, coach of the Under-18s, summarised the season as follows: "The season was exciting at times, even though it seems like a strong word. For some stretches we were aware that we were healthy and could play against anyone. There were some unknowns, related to the condition and the number of players, which inevitably influenced the week's work. The balance, however, is definitely positive".
