UNDER 16, RECORD RHYTHM

Victory and top of the table for Coach Baldo's side

A precious 2-1 victory in Bergamo, thanks to goals from Pisati and Pandolfi, has put the Rossoneri's Under 16s joint top with Inter after eight games. They lead the table with 21 points and continue to travel at a high pace in a highly competitive league.

Following the home defeat to Como on 1 October, the young Rossoneri have gone up a gear and secured six wins out of six, the first of them with a wide margin (5-0, 4-0, 6-2 and 5-0), plus two tight ones against Lecco and Atalanta. With 28 goals scored and seven conceded, our side have the second best attack (one goal less than Inter) and the best defensive record so far

From now until the end of 2023, Coach Baldo and his lads have four more fixtures to face: home to Brescia and Cagliari at the PUMA House of Football, and Verona and Cittadella on the road, before the new year - which strangely closes out the first round of fixtures - kicks off with a top-of-the-table derby clash with Inter on 7 January.

Four games to maintain this record pace and consolidate their position in the table, both from a head-to-head record perspective, but, above all, to end 2023 with belief. The road to the playoffs and the final phase of the season is still a long way off, but the Rossoneri can sit at the top table with the league's best and think big.
