The men’s Primavera have so far played three matches in 2025, drawing twice in the league (0-0 against Lazio and 1-1 against Atalanta) and winning on penalties against Genoa in the Coppa Italia. After finishing 2024 strongly with away wins over Sassuolo and Monza, our U20s have started the new year at a slightly slower pace. Nevertheless, they are still adding to their tally with their final objective in mind.

As we head into the second half of the campaign, the Rossoneri sit in a good position with 33 points, three more than Genoa, the first team outside the playoff zone. However, there’s still long way to go in the league, and the team also want to go all the way in the Coppa Italia, where they’ll face Inter in he quarter-finals. To date, there have been plenty of positives but also some disappointments for Coach Guidi’s side.

The Diavolo have experienced the joy of returning to winning ways in the derby, but the team’s Youth League elimination remains an open wound that could serve as motivation during the second half of the campaign. There have been a few lows but no shortage of highs, most notably the aforementioned victory in the derby and away victories over Fiorentina and Sassuolo - both league leaders at the time.

A bit of consistency has perhaps been lacking, but the team have always been able to respond to difficulties and remain well in contention in two competitions. With a less busy schedule over the next few months, the Rossoneri have the chance to push on and achieve great things. The future is there to be written for Coach Guidi’s lads, who certainly have positive foundations to build on. Keep it up!
