KYLE WALKER: FOCUS AND FUN FACTS

Here is the first page of a "new start". The Rossoneri's January market opens with the big signing of Kyle Walker. Born in Sheffield, the 34 years old (1990) right-back is 183cm tall and weighs 83kg. A world-class player, adding valuable experience and character to Conceição's team. The decision to bet on the Englishman is important and precise: to strengthen the back line, to give new energy to the flanks, and to increase depth in the dressing room for a team that wants to shine at national and international level. In 2011, he returned to Tottenham on a permanent basis and became a key player: 229 total appearances up to 2017 with Spurs, constant performances every season for a total of 4 goals and 18 assists. It was then time for a switch to Manchester City, in what was a considerable investment by Pep Guardiola. Kyle's arrival coincided with the gigantic rise of the Mancunians, conquering England and European football. His record of success is sensational: 6 Premier Leagues, 4 League Cups, 2 Community Shields, 2 FA Cups, 1 Champions League, 1 European Super Cup and 1 FIFA Club World Cup. 319 appearances, six goals and 23 assists. He is also a regular for England: from U19 to U21 to senior selection since 2011, participating in World Cups and European Championships as a star player.

He was born on 28 May 1990, five days before the Rossoneri won the 1989/90 Champions Cup in Vienna, beating Benfica 1-0 thanks to Rijkaard's goal. How can we forget Olivier Giroud as goalkeeper at the Ferraris in Genoa in October 2023, "forced" to put on the gloves in the final minutes. Walker also played in goal once: in November 2019, Atalanta v Manchester City (Champions League group stage), at San Siro. He replaced the expelled Bravo - in the absence of substitution slots - and was decisive in a couple of interventions to preserve the 1-1 draw.
