A LOOK AT THE YOUNG ROSSONERI'S SEASON

A LOOK AT THE YOUNG ROSSONERI'S SEASON

    FocusMay 27th 2026

It came down to the last day, but it got over the line. Adrien Rabiot has been linked to AC Milan, practically since Allegri's arrival, mainly because they worked together in Turin. Mutual knowledge and respect, and a relationship which will definitely build as he joins the squad. But the Frenchman, born in Saint-Maurice on 3 April 1995, is already a Serie A expert thanks to his time at Juventus between 2019 and 2024. He is a renowned player across Europe and the World. The Rossoneri Club aim for this signing to improve a key area of the team.

He's a defensive, or box-to-box midfielder, 191cm tall and 75kg. Rabiot's strength is his ability to combine his physique and technique. He is powerful, dynamic and fast despite his size: he makes great late runs into the box, able with the ball at his feet, and great in supporting the attack. He makes an impact, and often scores boasting tactical intelligence and great ball control. With his off-the-ball movement, he will perfectly suit Allegri's style. A missing piece of the puzzle, capable of dominating the midfield.

He started his career close to home at Créteil-Lusitanos, before joining Manchester City's youth set-up, the first big side to target him before then establishing himself in France: from Pau to Paris Saint-Germain, where it all began for him. In 2012, he made his first team debut (under Ancelotti) and soon after, made his first Champions League appearance. In January 2023, he moved to Toulouse, where he scored his first Ligue 1 goal, before returning to Paris in the summer and began to cement his place in the team: game time, growth and winning. He stayed there until 2019 and won six league titles, five League Cups, four Coupes de France and four French Supercups.

Then, he moved to Italy, joining Juventus. Whilst at the Bianconeri, he met Allegri and secured his starting place. He proved himself in Turin, shining in Serie A and in the Champions League, and in October 2023, he wore the captain's armband against us at San Siro. Over his time at Juve, he won two Coppa Italias, one Scudetto and one Italian Supercup. Up to the end of 2024, he scored 212 appearances, 22 goals and 16 assists. He spent last season at Olympique Marseille, where we signed him from: 32 matches and ten goals in total.

He has a huge range of experience for France: from the U16s to the first team. Since 2016, he has played in two EUROs and one World Cup, winning the 2021 Nations League. In the past, on the subject of the Rossoneri, he was teammates with (and not just) Nkunku, Maignan, Hernández and Giroud with Les Bleus. He is also well aware of San Siro: he scored his first Serie A goal, and first brace for his nation, at the Meazza.

Adrien, football aside, is a passionate skier, both watching and practising. He is a foodie, and likes sushi. He is particularly dedicated in training, but outside of work he loves cinema. He is very close to his mother Veronique, and they've had a great relationship since a young age. She is now his agent and has always taken care in looking after his interests. Bienvenue!
