A LOOK AT THE YOUNG ROSSONERI'S SEASON

    FocusMay 27th 2026

The Women's Youth Sector season at AC Milan is drawing to a close after a campaign full of achievements. The standout moment was the historic Primavera Scudetto, the second in the team's history, won once again against Sassuolo, just like in 2024. The Rossonere reached the final by overcoming the reigning champions: two years ago it was Roma at Viola Park, while this season in Emilia they defeated Juventus. Overall, it was the fifth national title won by AC Milan's women's sector in the last five years.

This consistent success has brought further prestige to the club, especially as it has coincided with the growth of several players who came through the PUMA House of Football and reached the professional stage, often in the Rossoneri shirt. Just look at the players born in 2005, who are now established members of Suzanne Bakker's squad. The Women's Under-17 side also showed plenty of potential. While they narrowly missed out on the final stages of the national championship, they have all the talent needed to make their mark next season, including at Primavera level.

In fact, the Rossonere youth teams' season is not over yet. The Women's Under-15 side is still competing and this weekend will play the first leg of its national quarter-final against Juventus, a repeat of the 2024/25 Scudetto final, won 2-1 by AC Milan in Anagni thanks to a brilliant brace from Angelica Ferranti.

Beyond the national competitions, the 2025/26 season has also been a positive one for our teams thanks to the valuable experiences gained by the youngest age groups in the grassroots sector. Teams such as the Pulcine and Esordienti have had the chance to take part in international tournaments, including in Rimini and Turin, testing themselves against peers from Italy and across Europe. The hope is for a strong finish to the season, before turning the focus to 2026/27.
