    Brazil didn't slip up at the final hurdle as they won their ninth Copa America. At the Maracanà in Rio De Janeiro, the Seleçao beat Peru 3-1 in a lively match with Everton, Gabriel Jesus and Richarlison goals winning it for the hosts. Guerrero briefly levelled from the spot but it wasn't enough and only made defeat taste even more bitter for the Blanquirroja.

    There were great celebrations after the whistle for Coach Tite and his players. Lucas Paquetá was among them after winning his first senior trophy with Brazil at just 21.
