TURKEY GET THE WIN, 80 MINUTES FOR ÇALHA

Çalhanoğlu and Mionić were the two Rossoneri in action for their national teams on Saturday night, and their results were positive.
Hakan's Turkey, on matchday five of the qualifiers for EURO 2020 in Group H, overcame Andorra with a 1-0 win. But it was by no means an easy victory in Istanbul. In fact, the opponents, who sit bottom of the group on zero points, only succumbed in the 89th minute after a goal from Tufan. A few too many nervous moments, but another step in the right direction in remaining at the top of the group, level with France and Iceland all on 12 points. Çalhanoğlu, who started as a central attacking midfielder in Coach Güneş’ 4-2-3-1 formation, was replaced in the 80th minute.
Mionić's Croatian U-19s on the other hand drew to France at home in Lucko, with the friendly match finishing 1-1. France were reduced to ten men in the 54th minute but led 1-0 for the majority of the match, and it was only in the 89th minute that Antonio’s Croatia snatched the draw. Our young midfielder played the full 90 minutes.
