Franck Kessié started in Côte d’Ivoire’s friendly against Tunisia. The Rossoneri’s no.70 played for 90 minutes as Les Éléphants won 2-1 thanks to goals from Seko Fofana and Roger Assalé.
It was a great night for Rafael Leão who started for the Portugal Under-21 side. The new Rossoneri signing scored the first goal in the 68th minute after cutting in from the right. It was his sixth Under-21 cap and Portugal won 0-2.
Brazil lost overnight in their friendly against Peru. In Los Angeles, Luis Abram scored the only goal in the 85th minute as Brazil lost 0-1. Lucas Paquetá played for 30 minutes after coming on for David Neres in the 64th minute.
The Italy Under-21 side won heavily in their first match of the EURO 2021 qualifiers, the finals of which will be in Hungary and Slovenia. 5-0 was the final result against Luxembourg after goals from Locatelli, Kean, Sottil, Tumminello and Scamacca. Matteo Gabbia was on the bench.
