PIĄTEK'S POLAND FLY THROUGH TO EURO 2020

It was a Sunday of celebration for Piątek and his national team as Poland secured their place at EURO 2020 with a 2-0 win over North Macedonia in Warsaw. Coach Brzęczek side came out on top thanks to goals from Frankowski and Milik in their final match of the break, retaining their spot at the top of Group G on 16 points. Rossoneri forward Krzysztof came on right at the death in stoppage time.
Meanwhile, Rebić's Croatia were held to a draw in their race for European qualification in their 1-1 result against Wales in Cardiff. Vlašić gave the Croatians the lead but Bale responded at the end of the first half. Despite the result Dalić's side remain in first place in Group E on 14 points.
Finally, both Kessie and Paquetá were in action in their nations' friendlies: Franck played 90 minutes in Ivory Coast's 3-1 win over Congo in Amiens (goals from Kanon, Pepe, Akolo and Zaha), while Lucas' Brazil drew 1-1 with Nigeria in Singapore (goals from Aribo and Casemiro).
