

It was a positive night for the Rossoneri players involved in international football. Krzysztof Piątek returned to goalscoring ways for Poland in their 2-1 win over Israel, five months since he last hit the net for his country which was also against Israel on 10 June. For Kris, it was the fourth goal of the season and the fourth of his Poland career. At the Stadio Paolo Mazza in Ferrara, the Azzurrini won 3-0 and moved ahead of Iceland into second in the group. Matteo Gabbia's performance was a positive one as he started at centre-back alongside Fiorentina's Ranieri. The match was won by a Sottil goal and Patrick Cutrone brace.
