    Just three Rossoneri were involved on international duty last night following the postponement of Italy U21's fixture with their Icelandic counterparts, which would have seen Matteo Gabbia and Sandro Tonali involved. Rafael Leão and Diogo Dalot both started in Portugal U21's win over Norway U21.

    It ended 4-1; Rafa was deployed as the central striker in a 4-3-3, flanked by Jota and Neto, and played for 62 minutes before coming off. Dalot played at right-back and was brought off in the 83rd minute. In the friendly between Nigeria and Algeria in Klagenfurt (Austria) - which finished 1-0 to the Algerians - Ismaël Bennacer was an unused substitute.
