A CAMEO FOR SAELEMAEKERS IN THE DRAW WITH BELGIUM

There was just the one Rossoneri player on national team duty at the weekend: Alexis Saelemaekers played the first half in Belgium's 2-2 draw away to Ireland, in Dublin. Goals from Batshuayi and Vanaken for the guests, Ogbene and Browne for the hosts. It was the eighth appearance in Belgium colours for the Rossoneri's number 56, seven of which have come this season (World Cup qualifiers and Nations League).

Considering that Alexis was a Rossoneri player, on his international debut back in October 2020, in a friendly against Franck Kessie's Ivory Coast, this is testament to the progress he's making under Stefano Pioli at AC Milan.
