KRUNIĆ PROVIDES ASSIST IN BOSNIA WIN, CALABRIA PLAYS IN ITALY DEFEAT

The two Rossoneri started and were involved throughout for their respective countries yesterday

Rade Krunić’s Bosnia picked up a crucial 3-2 victory over Finland yesterday, with the AC Milan man playing 90 minutes and providing the assist for the winner. The Bosnians now sit on eight points and continue to lead Group 3 in League B of the UEFA Nations league. Davide Calabria also started and played throughout as Italy lost 5-2 to Germany at Borussia Park in Mönchengladbach.

The Azzurri’s first defeat in the latest edition of the UEFA Nations League has resulted in them losing top spot in League A Group 3. This is now occupied by Hungary, who ran out 4-0 winners in England. Mancini’s men, who have five points to their name, have also fallen behind Germany and sit third. Bosnia, meanwhile, are unbeaten, hold a one-point advantage over Montenegro and are on track to be promoted to League A.

Alexis Saelemaekers wasn’t involved in Belgium’s 1-0 win over Poland. Tonali (suspended), Florenzi and Tomori didn’t play for their respective sides, either.
