A couple of friendlies of interest to the Rossoneri were played last night, kicking off a round of fixtures ahead of the World Cup, which will see the involvement of seven of our players. Tonali won his twelfth cap for Italy as the Azzurri won 3-1 in Albania with a goal from Di Lorenzo and a Grifo brace. Sandro put in a brilliant performance in the first half - which ended 2-1 - as part of a central midfield pair with Verratti in Mancini's new-look 3-4-3 formation, before being taken off as a precaution due to a nasty collision. Ismaël Bennacer was involved in Algeria's 1-1 draw at home to Mali as he came off the bench at the break to make his 43rd appearance in international football.
