LAZETIĆ BAGS BRACE IN SERBIA U19 WIN

The Rossoneri striker scores a goal in each half as the Serbs get the better of North Macedonia

The action continues for the Rossoneri players on international duty, with Marko Lazetić becoming the latest player to take to the pitch. In the match between Serbia U19s and their North Macedonian counterparts, the 18-year-old wore the captain’s armband and inspired his team to an important 2-1 away victory. The Rossoneri centre-forward coolly scored from the penalty spot in the 35th minute and then temporarily made it 2-0 to the Serbians with a precise header after 80 minutes. Jan-Carlo Simić remained on the bench as Group 10, which also contains Norway and San Marino, got underway. It was the same story for Rafael Leão, whose Portugal beat Nigeria 4-0, and Andrei Coubis, with Romania U21s defeating CSA Steaua 4-2.
