They beat Cyprus 1-0 away from home, with Sergej Milinković-Savić's goal in the 7th minute deciding the game. In Larnaca, the Rossoneri player came on in the 46th minute and was deployed as the central reference point in the Serbian attack line. He fought hard throughout the game, but was unable to get himself on the scoresheet.
