GIMENEZ GETS AN ASSIST FOR MEXICO IN THEIR GOLD CUP OPENER

Santiago Gimenez's Mexico got off to a good start in the CONCACAF Gold Cup. Santi started in the opening game at the Dominican Republic. The AC Milan forward put in a convincing display, offering attacking and defensive duties. He provided an assist for Raúl Jiménez at the start of the second half. Gimenez then left the field in the 73rd minute. An important contribution to start the tournament well.
