CROATIA WIN, MODRIĆ COMES ON LATE IN THE GAME

Croatia win 3-0 at home to Gibraltar in Varaždin, with goals from Fruk, Luka Sučić and Martin Erlić. After their 0-0 draw to the Czech Republic on Thursday, Croatia are now top of Group L after this win in the 2026 World Cup Qualifiers, with games still in hand. 

Luka Modrić, came on in the 69', after playing the full 90 on Thursday. The Rossoneri number 14 came on when his side was already 2-0 up and helped control the lead, which was sealed by Erlić's goal in the 96th minute. Luka will be back at Mister Allegri’s disposal when training resumes at Milanello, powered by Clivet.
