Adrien Rabiot and Mike Maignan both played the full 90 minutes as France beat Iraq 3-0. It was a one-sided contest for Les Bleus, although the match was made unusual by a lengthy interruption of one hour and 43 minutes due to lightning, as well as Kylian Mbappé’s landmark 100th appearance for the national team, which he marked with a brace. Adrien came close to finding the net with a header and impressed with several important recoveries in midfield, while Mike had a fairly quiet evening between the posts; Iraq failed to register a shot on target and managed only four attempts throughout the match.
