

AC Milan announces the appointment of Maurizio Ganz as the new Women's First Tem coach from July 1, 2019.
Maurizio Ganz, 51 years old, born in Tolmezzo, in Friuli Venezia Giulia played over 600 matches during his career as a footballer and is now returning to AC Milan, a Club with which he played for two seasons, collecting 52 appearances, scoring 11 goals and winning the Scudetto in 1998-99.
The Club and the coach have signed a two-year contract until June 30, 2021. Maurizio Ganz joins the team ahead of the summer training camp scheduled for the last week of July and for the following pre-season friendly matches. Davide Cordone has been appointed as assistant coach.
Paolo Maldini, Strategic Development Director of the Technical Area commented: "During his career, Maurizio has always shown strong leadership and significant technical skills. I am sure that, thanks to his guidance, our women will continue to grow, individually and as a group, to the benefit of our Club".
