AC Milan can confirm that Alessandro Bonomi underwent surgery to reconstruct his left ACL today.

The procedure, performed at the IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant'Ambrogio di Milano, was successful.

Bonomi will begin the recovery process in around 15 days time.
