AC Milan can confirm that Primavera player Simon La Mantia underwent surgery to reconstruct the cruciate ligament in his left knee.

The procedure, performed at the IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant'Ambrogio in Milan, was a complete success. La Mantia will now begin his rehabilitation process, the aim of which is to get him ready for competition action in around 15 days.
