In the first 12 matches of the first half of the season, AC Milan collected 24 points, while in the corresponding stretch of the second half, the Rossoneri added 21 points: a slight drop but still broadly in line with their Champions League objective. After 31 league matches, AC Milan remain above the two-points-per-game benchmark: the Rossoneri have collected 63 points so far, one point ahead of that pace. From the final seven matches of the first half of the campaign, AC Milan added 17 points to the table. Now attention turns to the seven remaining fixtures of the season. The Rossoneri will play four at home - against Udinese, Juventus, Atalanta and Cagliari - and three away, with trips to Verona, Sassuolo and Genoa. Meanwhile, the head-to-head series with Napoli has also concluded following the meeting at the Stadio Maradona: AC Milan 2-1 Napoli in the first meeting, and Napoli 1-0 AC Milan in the return fixture.

Looking at the clashes with the teams currently above them in the standings, AC Milan have now faced both Inter and Napoli home and away. Against the Nerazzurri, the Rossoneri completed a league double — with Pulisic scoring the winner away from home in the first meeting and Estupiñan sealing victory in the return match in front of the AC Milan supporters. The meetings with Napoli, however, produced one win each, leaving the head-to-head goal difference level. As things stand, AC Milan would hold the advantage thanks to their superior overall goal difference, having conceded seven fewer goals than Napoli. However, the Partenopei currently sit two points ahead in the standings. AC Milan have also taken four points from six against both Como and Roma — a win in the first meeting followed by a draw in the return fixture. Two major head-to-head series remain to be completed: those against Juventus and Atalanta. In both cases, the first meeting away from home ended in a draw, with the return fixtures still to be played at San Siro.
