OFFICIAL STATEMENT: ABIGAIL CROSBY BRIGHTON

AC Milan is delighted to announce the signing of Abigail Crosby Brighton on loan until June 30th, 2027.

Abigail was born on March 29th, 2002, in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, United States. She began playing football at Heritage Academy, where she also served as captain, before continuing her development with the Tormenta FC Academy.

She began her college career with the Vanderbilt Commodores in 2020, making 93 appearances, scoring ten goals and providing 15 assists. After helping Vanderbilt win the SEC title in her first season, she captained the team to victory over defending champion Florida State in the 2024 NCAA Tournament, providing an assist and converting the decisive penalty in the shootout. At the end of the season, she earned second-team All-SEC honors and was named United Soccer Coaches third-team All-American.

Abigail began her professional career with Juventus in January 2025, helping the club win its sixth Scudetto and the Coppa Italia.

At the international level, she represented the United States from Under-14 to Under-20 level before being called up for an Under-23 training camp in March 2025.

Abi Brighton will wear the No. 32 shirt.
